Don't Forget The Stocking Stuffers This Year!

Black Friday Cyber Monday Small business Saturday Stocking Stuffers

It's me again, you know...the one you always see standing at the Stuff-Mart checkout at 5:59 on Christmas Eve with 2,000 of my fellow last-minute-shopper cohorts.  Yup, I'm the one with the deer in the headlights look as I'm 3rd from the front of the line and I suddenly realize...I forgot the stocking stuffers!!!

We've all done it, some of us make it our trademark.  We've become very creative when standing in the checkout lane, and store chains have come to realize we special folks exist!  Chapped lip sticks?  Everyone needs at least 3.  Keychain lights, yup grab me a handful.  A word-find 6-pack?  You betcha!  Don't forget the pens!!!!

But seriously, wouldn't you like this to be the year you have something really unique and tasty to put in everyone's stockings?  How about some handcrafted treats that are even on the "nice" list when it comes to healthier options?  Well, put those Oreo and Cheetos down and I'll tell you what we have!

This year we have our handcrafted Gingerbread Men making a return appearance for the 8th year!  Folks have been ordering these chunky little guys to give to teachers, mail carriers, newspaper person, bank tellers, you name it!  They come individually wrapped and ready for gifting in either a single, 6-pack, or 13-pack Baker's Dozen.  The golden toasted granola is gingerbread just like you remember it with cinnamon, ginger, molasses, and more all coated in a thin dark chocolate coating, decorated by hand in the traditional way...some with just a touch of whimsy too.  They are just about the same as 2 of our traditional granola bars.  We even have one customer who regularly uses them at her holiday table as part of her tablescape each year!

Just like our regular bars, sometimes they get chilled in shipping or Uncle Bob forgets them in the car overnight.  Yes, they will get pretty chilly and hard.  But that will not hurt them at all.  If they crystalize, simple remove one from it's pouch, place on a microwave safe plate, and heat for 8-10 seconds (microwaves vary).  Regardless if it's shaped like a bar, a Christmas tree, or a Gingerbread Man it will be soft and chewy again so you can enjoy.

This Christmas don't be the yutz like me scrambling for stocking fodder in the Suff-Mart checkout.  Get your order in for an assortment of our Gingerbread Men, Decorated Christmas Trees, Swirled Dark Chocolate Peppermint or White Chocolate Peppermint Snowflakes, or Orange Creamsicle Santa Hats!  You'll be the new stocking stuffing hero and you can tell everyone you got them fresh....from our hearth to yours!
